Solana Beach Elegance – Solana Beach, CA

We call this completely remodeled home and garden ‘Solana Beach Elegance’ with it’s French Country theme, updated with a modern sassy twist. DCLD designed the exterior colors and materials on the home along with the outdoor spaces. Both distressed and honed French Caracas Blue limestone are used for pool coping, entry and outdoor terrace flooring. Rustic White Osage limestone faces walls & an outdoor shower, complimenting the taupe smooth stucco. Creamy colored Napa Valley Cast Stone is used on window sills and wall caps. Crisp white paint on molding, trim and pergolas contrasts with the black slate stain on custom designed wood screens, fences and gates.

For the front garden, we used Sycamore and ‘Forest Pansy’ Redbud trees, complimented with shrubs and grasses in deep greens and white /green variegations and accented by perennials with blooms in all shades of pink, lavender and white.

The herb garden features olive trees, silver shrubs, lavender and pale yellow flowering perennials.
